方才在鄰里採買完晚餐，進到大樓，剛好碰著大樓的非裔清潔工。因為覺得他知道大樓裡的大小事情，順口問問是否知道為什麼我們最近大樓門口的天花板被拆掉，好奇到底在施什麼工？結果一問，他果然開始滔滔不絕，解釋說那個施工是因為漏水！之前還從大門口天花板的漏水，一路漏到包裹室，他還主動把看起來髒髒的漏水處發霉處都仔細清除乾淨。 接著，他打開話匣子，一講連講了至少半小時左右。一路暢談，簡直是他人生縮影。
